Mutton Keema is a popular dish and tastes fantastic. Vary the amount of spices you use to taste but we recommend using a small amount preserve the great taste of the mutton. Get creative and make your own twists on this classic dish.
Ingredients:
400g Mutton Mince
Sunflower Oil
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
2 Bay leaves
1 teaspoon Whole Black Peppercorns
5 Cardamom Pods/Seeds
3 Onions (finely chopped)
2 Cloves of Garlic (finely chopped)
2cm of Ginger (finely chopped)
2 Green Chillies (finely chopped)
3 Tomatoes (finely chopped)
1.5 teaspoons Coriander (chopped)
1 tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
0.5 teaspoon Cumin powder
Salt
0.5 teaspoon Garam Masala
Mint Leaves (chopped)
Method:

Heat oil in a wide pan on a medium heat. Add the cumin seeds, bay leaves, peppercorns and cardamom

Chop the onions and add them to the pan. Saute until they turn brown in colour

Add the garlic, ginger, green chillies, tomato puree and mix well

Cook for 5 minutes on medium. Once done, add the coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and salt

Cook for 5-8 minutes on low flame. After 5-8 minutes, add the minced mutton and saute it for about 2-3 minutes. Add water as needed and cook till it gets dry

Once the mutton is cooked, switch off the stove and add the garam masala. Mix well and garnish it with mint leaves
