Hogget is the premium sheep meat balancing the texture of lamb meat with the flavours often found in slow cooked mutton.
Our low intensity production means that we don't use concentrated feeds in winter and we don't use nitrate fertilisers on the land. We can only produce sheep meat when we have grass, from May onwards.
The end result is spectacular. Embodying the flavours of the herbs, legumes and grasses that the 'hogs' have grazed all year, Hogget is the choice of the meat connoisseur.
